we had to watch a video of elephants being culled during english yesterday. it hurt so much just to watch it, so much that it made me cry. how cruel us humans can be, killing for the sake of money. just for ivory and for elephant meat. we're so heartless. ii told my parents about it over dinner and my mom showed me this video her friend had sent her.

on these chinese farms, foxes, minks, rabbits are skinned alive. they're still alive and kicking. are we so sadistic, so cruel, so ruthless, that we don't even let them have a painless death? it makes me so ashamed to be a chinese. they beat the poor animals on the ground, with sticks etc. and these animals are left outside at extreme temperatures. the animals are so desperate to get away, the throw themselves against the metal cages and bite themselves. are we the reincarnation of the devil?

can you imagine how much pain, how excruciating it is, having your neck stepped on repeatedly? or being skinned alive? or having your head bashed against the floor over and over again? the poor animals, they can only whimper, their soundless screams no one can hear.
